We recently teamed up with Less Plastic to help deliver an Infographic, which communicates a plan based on our own strategy of how to reduce plastic within our business.

Less Plastic have an awesome approach to communicating solutions to the marine plastic crisis, through simple to read infographics. It’s a complex subject and often overwhelming for most, particularly when considering the scale of the crisis. So the amazing work of Less Plastic to simplify and condense information in quickly understood infographics, are an amazing way to get the message across.

The beach going, family run organisation, who are based on the stunning South Devon coast, simply had enough of the nasty plastic stuff washing up on their favourite beaches, so they decided to do something about it.

Amanda and James Keetley set up Less Plastic in 2015 to raise awareness of the problem and let people know there is another way, and alternatives are available. We don’t need to put up with plastic pollution .. and we shouldn’t!

Here at Surfdome, we have taken a unique approach to reducing plastic pollution, which is outlined amazingly by the infographic. To date, we have eliminated the equivalent plastic of 1.2 million plastic bottles from circulation and the project has the potential to save us money! This has lead to us being a case study for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and being ranked within the top 16 brands helping to save the ocean
